Despite the category name, not all aerial beasts are capable of flight although all possess wings. Bird meat and feathers can be gathered from all of these creatures, and thus makes them popular hunting sport for those who can defend themselves adequately.

They attack with ultrasonic waves which disorient any who hear it, stunning them in place or wracking them with pain so that they can't move. This leaves foes and prey vulnerable to being preyed upon by the creature. Shade and Jinn are what they're strong against, and Wisp and Gnome are their weakness.

These large birds are large enough to be ridden, both the yellow and black variety, but wild ones are rarely ever tamed and are in fact quite aggressive to the concept of people approaching them to start with. Their leaping kicks can leave serious injury. Wisp and Jinn are on their side, but Shade and Gnome are not.

Their plumage is quite striking in shades of red, green, and blue, and thus are valued for anyone who has the skill to take them down. As is typical with their type, they are weak to Shade and Gnome, but strong when it comes to Wisp and Jinn.

While their dusty pink or brown plumage can help them blend in with their surroundings occasionally, the brilliant blue of their inner wing feathers often gives them away. The holes their beaks leave are notorious giveaway to their territory. As with many, they find strength with Wisp and Jinn, but can be done in simply by Shade and Gnome.
